About

Mixing It Up

Henry Fisher is a 17-year old DJ based in Westport, CT. He started his career in 2011, motivated by a passion for a wide variety of music and a desire to share that music with the world. Since then his fluency in a diverse array of music-- from pop to rock to disco-- have brought the 17-year old DJ from practicing spinning small local parties into the professional realm. With 6 years of experience, he still brings that same fun and energy to parties for kids and adults. However, he's also moved into large-scale events, DJ'ing for international events, like the 2016 Maccabi Games in Webster Bank Arena -- a crowd of 10,000 people-- and regularly spinning for notable Connecticut businesses, including the Westport Y, Connecticut Ballet Gala, and F45 Gym.

"I come from a background of having listened to a lot of different genres of music," Henry explains in an interview. "Jazz, classic and indie rock, contemporary and old-school pop, ambient, house, hip hop, you name it. It makes me happy to be able to share those experiences I had discovering music with others."

About

A Musical Flair

DJ Henry Fisher brings something to the table that many

other DJs don't: experience in other facets of music. As

noted in an interview with the local news outlet The

Minuteman, DJ Henry Fisher has "always been musical".

Starting as early as 6 years old with a guitar, Henry has

never stopped exploring the world of music, moving on to

taking up violin and jazz piano. His achievements in this field have landed him a position in summer programs for Jazz and Music Production at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Berklee School of Music, and the Eastman School of Music. He also leads the Hopkins musical improvisation club, as well as playing in and conducting for the Hopkins School Jazz Ensemble. His wide-ranging self-taught music knowledge is supplemented by several outside sources, notably Multi-time grammy winner Paul Bogaev, Professional Jazz Pianist and music producer Craig Hartley, and Hopkins School Jazz Band Director Chris Devona
